Paul Ogamyeni was born and grew up in Manchester and now lives in Chester as a posturer. He had lived in a family which would go to church at Christmas and Easter however would not label themselves as Christians. Paul was involved in gangs where he would be influenced to do things such as drugs, violence, crime and almost lead him to murder someone. He spent months in prison and had to keep his identify as hidden as possible. It was only when he took a leaflet from an evangelist and felt an urge to enter a church that he started feeling as if he needed to start making changes to his life. I find him highly inspirational and am proud to be interviewing him for my documentary.
