In this video I look into the origins of documentaries, the Lumiere Brothers created the original documentaries where they simply observed people doing everyday actives, such as leaving work. Looking into where documentaries ordinate from is useful when studying documentaries as I could get inspiration from where they began, instead of focusing on modern documentaries.
