Even though this isn't our favorite font, this is the font we chose as we felt it represents the style and genre of our film the best. It's in sans serif which is what we wanted and it's a typical font associated with film noirs.
This our favorite font for our Opening Scene, it’s similar to comp films with ours such as Night in the City. It’s a bold font which makes it stand out and in sans serif, giving a modern feel to our old-fashioned film.
This font we liked however thought that it looked too comical, we didn’t feel like it would reflect our film to have the sort of feel as we would like. It is in sans serif however we knew that there would be another font more suitable for our opening scene.
This font was a close option as it’s Serif which strongly reflects the era of film however we didn’t feel like it would be right for our style of film. We felt this would be more suitable for a horror genre of film as it has an old-fashioned ere feel to it. It is also in serif which we know that we don't want for our titles.
This font shows a big contrast to our other options however it was still an option we were considering. We thought that this would be more susceptible for romance genre of film as the handwritten effect could also represent a love letter. It is in serif as there are little flicks at the end of each letter, which we know that we don't want for our opening scene.
